Leadership

Serving as school captain and class captain for three years, I’ve learned the power of teamwork and encouragement.

Meet Ayesha

Hi! I'm, a 13-year-old Year 7 student, author, podcaster, and young leader passionate about learning, leadership, kindness, and community impact. I am a scholarship student at a private elite high school and enjoy taking on challenges that help me grow while supporting others.

I have served as School Captain, Class Captain for three consecutive years, and Student of the Year. Leadership is central to who I am, and I believe meaningful change begins with empathy, responsibility, and consistent effort.

My love for writing began early. In 2019, my work was published in the Knox City Council magazine when I was in Prep. In 2024, I co-authored “Big Bully Person Behind the Mask” with my younger sister, becoming one of the youngest authors in Australia. We presented our book at the Victorian Parliament and at our Local Member of Parliament’s office. I am currently recording the book for Audible and writing my second book, scheduled for publication in mid-2026.

My sister and I are also launching our podcast, “Young Voices, Big Impact,” in early 2026, focusing on leadership, anti-bullying, and challenges faced by primary school children.

In 2023, I co-founded GemClub, a school initiative supporting Prep to Year 3 students with learning and confidence. I also run a charity initiative providing school uniforms to children in need. Every Sunday, I help prepare and distribute meals to people experiencing homelessness, and I donate most of my pocket money and gifts to charity. All proceeds from my books support community initiatives.

I am a black belt in Karate and received Student of the Year in Karate in 2024. I am also a State Champion in volleyball and compete in multiple school sports. I speak five languages: English, Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, and Kashmiri.

Outside academics, I enjoy swimming, cricket, volleyball, cycling, music, and reading. I have read over 1,000 books, train competitively in swimming, and have performed as a cast lead in my school musical.

Through my writing, podcast, website, and community projects, I aim to create kinder, safer, and more inclusive spaces for children. I enjoy public speaking, youth advocacy, and creative storytelling, and I am committed to growing with purpose, curiosity, and compassion while making a positive difference in the world.
